Steens has specialised in LPG systems since 1992. Our experience and training helps us stay at the cutting edge of automotive LPG technology. We specialise in gas injection systems and were one of the first in Australia to adopt sequential vapour injection. We also provide our services to dealerships and other workshops.

Conversions:

We’re currently doing about 400 gas conversions per year, on all makes and models. We use ONLY the best quality components in our conversions and they are backed by our 2 year, 50,000 km warranty. We also offer a free gas service as part of our after-sales care.
We install conventional, mixer based systems to suit most vehicles. We also install sequential gas injection systems, which suit high performance cars and newer vehicles. We’ve done many conversions on unique or unusual cars, that others lack the confidence and experience to take on. If you’ve been told your car can’t or shouldn’t be converted, give us a call.
Our conversions are performed to the highest professional standards and we always endeavour to make them look and perform as if they were factory fitted. Our high-end gas systems can deliver equivalent or even superior performance to petrol.

Diagnosis:

We have the necessary experience and diagnostic equipment to pinpoint the causes of difficult to locate faults. Our qualified mechanics are experts at trouble-shooting LPG problems.

Servicing:

We service all makes and models of gas systems and recommend that gas systems are serviced annually, or every 20,000 km, so that faults can be detected and rectified before they cause problems.

Repairs:

We have a fully-equipped workshop and are able to repair a wide range of LPG systems and components. We have good customer service and will speak with the owner to make sure that they understand the range of repair options available and their costs, before carrying out the work.

Tuning:

Engines and their gas systems need to be tuned correctly, to run smoothly and efficiently. Our specialised equipment and training allows us to get the best performance and fuel economy from your vehicle.
